Vulgar and Threatening Remarks
Some members of the DeKalb County Coalition for Justice and Police Accountability (DCCJPA) are trying to deny and dismiss their threats, vulgar remarks, and anti-semitic smears they have posted on my social media pages. In order to provide clarity, I am posting the screen captures of some of these terrible statements here. The self-identified leader for the DCCJPA is Georgia State Professor Makunga Akinyela. I have forwarded his group’s threats and vulgar remarks to the DeKalb police. Based upon this data, law enforcement decided to put in place security protocols for me and my children.
Georgia State University is a publically funded institution. The leadership of GSU should disavow all threats and anti-Semitic remarks that have been directed to me and posted on my social media pages. Furthermore, GSU and Dr. Akinyela should apologize to the Jewish community for these remarks. Georgia State University and any serious intellectual should stand united against vulgarity, disrespect for public servants, threats and inappropriate remarks about children, and racist, anti-Semitic remarks.
